If you’re after a celebrant who keeps things meaningful and fun, you’ve come to the right place. I bring a light-hearted, caring, and (tastefully!) humorous approach to every ceremony—because your wedding should feel like you, not a script.
I’m a total people person who thrives on good energy, so I’ll be right there with you—keeping the vibe relaxed, positive, and full of joy. I’m also a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to making people happy, which means your day is truly all about you. From the little details to the big moments, I’ll make sure your ceremony feels personal, memorable, and completely stress-free.
With a background in healthcare, I’ve seen firsthand what love and commitment really look like—through the highs, the challenges, and everything in between. It’s given me a deep appreciation for the strength of partnership, and it’s a big part of why I genuinely love what I do.
So if you’re looking for someone who will laugh with you, support you, and create a ceremony that feels warm, real, and uniquely yours—I’d be honoured to be part of your day.

To get legally married in New Zealand, you’ll need a registered celebrant. If you’re planning a civil ceremony, they’ll need to be a registered civil celebrant, and for a registry-style ceremony, they must be part of the Celebrants Association of New Zealand.
We’re appointed by the Department of Internal Affairs to make it all official—basically, we handle the legal side of things.
That means checking your Copy of Particulars is all correct, submitting everything to Births, Deaths and Marriages, and making sure all the legal bits are covered in your ceremony.

In Aotearoa, you’ll need at least two witnesses present at your ceremony to make your marriage or civil union legally official.
They should be able to understand the proceedings, be sober, and sign the paperwork. Your witnesses can be friends, family members, or even children, as long as they understand the significance of the moment—essentially, your trusted people there to support you and make it official.

Such a valid question! Working together isn’t about quickly piecing something together just before your ceremony—it’s a thoughtful, collaborative process. From locking in your wedding date to shaping every detail along the way, it’s the result of months of planning, creativity, and care to make your ceremony truly special.

Absolutely! While I’m usually based around Auckland, I’m always up for an adventure and more than happy to travel for your special day.
Just a heads up—travel may add a little to the overall cost, but it’s something we can easily chat through and tailor together.

I completely understand that sometimes life happens! If you need to postpone your special day, I’ll do everything I can to support you and find a new date that works.
If the postponement happens within 30 days of your wedding, a new booking fee and agreement will be required. And if I happen to be unavailable for your new date, I’ll happily help you find a celebrant who’s just right for you.
If you decide to cancel more than a month out from your wedding, I’ll retain the booking fee. If it’s within one month of your big day, the full fee will be non-refundable.
